Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

SU strongly encourages all members of the campus community to maintain up-to-date vaccination status against the COVID-19 virus as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Students and employees who are symptomatic or test positive for COVID-19 should stay home and contact Campus Health (410-677-0006 or CampusHealth@索尔斯堡.edu). 另外, 学生 and employees who test positive at home with a take-home kit should notify Campus Health.

If you test positive for COVID-19:

• You must isolate for a minimum of 5 full days (day 0 being the day you tested positive).

o Specific isolation dates will be determined on a case-by-case basis by Campus Health.

• Students living on campus (including University Park) must isolate at home.
• Students living off campus may choose to isolate at their permanent address or temporarily relocate if isolating at their current residence is not an option.
• Students who are in isolation or quarantine will need to make arrangements with their instructors regarding class attendance and assignments.

Members of the campus community are not allowed to be on campus if they are COVID positive.

Campus Health continues to offer COVID-19 testing for symptomatic SU 学生 and employees, and those who believe they may have been exposed to COVID-19. To request a test, call 410-677-0006 or email campushealth@索尔斯堡.edu.

Face masks are not required on campus, but are strongly encouraged, especially in dense populations.

• Free KN95 masks are available at the Guerrieri Student Union Information Desk.
• Free N95 masks are available at Campus Health. 请电子邮件 campushealth@索尔斯堡.edu to schedule an appointment for fitting.
• Please respect those who choose to wear masks.

Individuals who test positive and close contacts should wear a well-fitting KN95 mask when around others for at least 10 days. Masks are available, at no cost, at the GSU Information Desk and several offices around campus.

Quarantine has generally been lifted for those identified as close contacts. 所有的学生, regardless of vaccination status, who are identified as a close contact will be required to take a campus administered test 5 days after exposure.

Residential 学生 who are identified as close contacts, and are not up-to-date on their COVID vaccination (including booster) will be required to quarantine at home for 5 full days. Campus Health will provide you with a return date. You must test negative at Campus Health on this date to be cleared from Quarantine.
